The President of Iceland completed his visit to Georgia. Guðni Jóhannesson highlighted his “memorable” visit to the country and extended his gratitude to the Georgian Prime Minister for “excellent” discussion and hospitality.

“It has been a pleasure to get to know Georgia and see all the future potential in two countries’ cooperation, not least in the field of renewable energy”, - writes the President.

In a social media message, he also noted his “memorable” first visit to the country would not be his last one.
