Work on the floodplain forest development project starts in Rustavi

In Rustavi, work on the floodplain forest development project is starting. The strategic document was created with the involvement of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, Rustavi City Hall and the Swedish Development Agency [Sida] and it involves the restoration, development and conservation of the Rustavi floodplain forest.

The Mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, discussed the details of the implementation of the strategic document together with the representatives of the municipality and the non-governmental sector, in the format of an external workshop.
