A memorandum was signed between the Agency for Protected Areas and the Center for Consultation and Training. The purpose of the agreement is to restore the noble deer population in the Tbilisi National Park and take appropriate measures.

The noble deer is currently included in the category of species on the critical verge of extinction.

According to its conservation action plan, Tbilisi National Park was determined as a priority area for the restoration of the deer population.
