The Special Investigation Service arrested a 63-year-old man for disclosure of secrets of personal life.

The investigation established that the female victim, born in 1981, was in a love/intimate relationship with the accused born in 1960, who was recording their sex on a mobile phone. In the same period, the victim was sending intimate photos to the accused. After the victim no longer wanted to continue the relationship with the accused, in February 2024, with the motive of revenge, using the application WhatsApp, he sent the above-mentioned intimate material to the victim’s family member.

After the victim’s report, the investigator of the Special Investigation Service conducted a house and personal search of the accused, removed the intimate photo-video materials of the female victim, and arrested him based on the above.

The Special Investigation Service opened another episode of disclosure of secrets of personal life and arrested a person born in 1985.

In 2021-2022, the accused had an intimate relationship with the female victim and they communicated in various ways, including through Internet applications. During the video call, the accused secretly took pictures (so-called screenshots) of the naked victim with his phone. The accused also illegally saved a sexual video recording on his mobile phone.

Both defendants, exposed to the crime, were charged with disclosure of secrets of personal life and were imprisoned as a preventive measure.

The crime shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of up to seven years.
