After granting the candidate status, the 33rd meeting of the steering committee of the European Union program “European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development” was held in Georgia for the first time.

The session was opened by the Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Otar Shamugia.

At the meeting, they discussed the progress of Georgia in the direction of food safety, rural and agricultural development, and discussed future plans.
