The Polish police are currently investigating the details of the incident that took place on February 11 near the border with Ukraine in Dorohusk, where protesting farmers stopped three Ukrainian trucks and dumped grain on the road, RFM24 reports.
As noted, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on state highway No. 12 near the farmers’ protest site.
“After registration, three trucks driven by citizens of Ukraine entered Poland. The protestors did not let the transport go any further, and at one point they opened the trailers, due to which part of the grain spilled onto the road. The drivers turned back in the direction of Ukraine”, - Eva Chyzh, a representative of the municipal police of the city of Helm, described the details of the incident.
At the moment, according to her, law enforcement officers are finding out the details of the incident and seizing evidence at the scene.
“We are conducting an inspection, establishing the personal data of the persons who participated in it, interviewing witnesses. The materials will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for legal and criminal legal examination”, - said the police representative.
