According to the Roads Department of Georgia, due to snow and heavy rain, landslides occurred in several locations in the highlands of Adjara.

As the statement of the agency reads, in the municipalities of Khulo, Shuakhevi and Kedi, both local and central highways collapsed.

“At this stage, cleaning works of collapsed locations are underway. The equipment and human resources of the Adjara Highways Department have been mobilized”, - added the department.
