Tbilisi City Court ordered 5-day administrative detention for civil activist Nata Peradze. She is detained under Article 166 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which is related to petty hooliganism

The case concerns the fact of splashing paint onto the icon of St. Matrona (which also depicts Joseph Stalin).

Peradze has been arrested at her home. As she said, she plans to appeal the court’s decision: “They can’t scare me, the fight continues and I will expose illegality from inside the prison!”
