The Government of Georgia announced shows for the festive season programme across the country ahead of Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, with the events set to host residents and visitors of the country between December 23 and January 13.
The celebrations will range from Tbilisi to major cities of the country in 10 regions.
Tbilisi is ready for the final countdown with new decorations and a new Christmas tree. The Christmas Village, which includes Orbeliani Square, surrounding streets and Dedaena Park, will host a Christmas market, gastronomic and entrepreneurial exhibitions, performances, children’s workshops and other events, every day, from 12:00. Evening programmes will involve artist shows followed by DJ performances and electronic music. The First Republic Square in the capital will host a gala concert on New Year’s Eve.
