The main message at the Eastern Partnership Ministerial will be that Georgia is interested in being actively involved in the Eastern Partnership format in the future as well, since we believe that this format provides us with mechanisms to strengthen and accelerate our European integration. Such a statement made today the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who participates in the ministerial of Eastern Partnership in Brussels.
“Connectivity has always been, is and will be one of the main components. In addition to politically associating and integrating our country into the European family and the European Union, there are many projects, for example the Black Sea electric cable and many transport projects, with which we have to physically get closer European family.
Accordingly, the format of the Eastern Partnership will be one where we will talk about the necessary and vital projects for integration.
The partners do not question the results of the reforms carried out in the country, which gives us new strength and impetus for the further continuation of the reforms in the direction of European integration.
This is an inevitable process, because the European integration of our country is directly related to the implementation of reforms”, - said Ilia Darchiashvili.
