The official meetings of the Venice Commission delegation in Georgia have ended.
The members of the delegation met with the Prime Minister, the President, representatives of the parliamentary majority and the opposition.
The representatives of the influential institution of the Council of Europe are interested in several issues in Georgia, including the election code, the anti-corruption bureau and the reform of the state inspector’s service.
They listened to all parties, and will reflect their opinions in the Commission’s report.
The Venice Commission concluded the visit with a summary press conference.
