Strategic partnership between Georgia and the US was discussed at the meeting of Minister of Defence of Georgia and the newly appointed US Ambassador to the country.

The meeting focused on the experience of cooperation of the Georgian and American military in international operations.

Juansher Burchuladze and Robin Dunnigan reviewed the implementation of the ongoing initiatives to strengthen Georgia’s defence and deterrence capabilities, which was positively assessed by the US.

The meeting also noted the positive dynamics of the US-Georgia multinational exercises that “increase the level of professionalism and interoperability of the Georgian Defence Forces”.
