The Minister of Defense of Georgia was heard in the Parliament in the format of Minister’s Hour.

Within the framework of the report, Juansher Burchuladze touched upon the security challenges and threats in Georgia and the region.

He spoke about the reforms and defense policy in the country, along with the current geopolitical situation.

One of the main topics was Russia’s aggressive and violent actions in the region. The Minister emphasized the priorities of foreign policy and said that Georgia is getting closer to the European family and the Euro-Atlantic space day by day.

During his speech, Juansher Burchuladze also spoke about the issue of restoration and modernization of military aviation and stated that a significant part of the planes and helicopters has already been updated. Questions were also asked in the hall.
