Beka Odisharia held the online meeting with representatives of the Georgian diaspora in Israel

Compatriots, we are deeply concerned about your well-being, and we are relieved to hear that you are safe and that we are receiving regular updates from you. Our wish is for peace and stability for you during these difficult times. I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their dedicated efforts, as instructed by the Prime Minister, to provide assistance to our citizens in Israel. I also want to extend our thanks to our Ambassador in Israel and the Honorary Consul for their support and assistance, said Beka Odisharia, the Chairman of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, at the online meeting with representatives of the Georgian diaspora in Israel.

During the meeting with the leaders and members of Georgian diaspora organizations residing in Israel, the attendees received updates on the current situation in the country, discussed ongoing developments, and took the opportunity to learn about the specific needs of our Georgian citizens in Israel.

According to Beka Odisharia, the Georgian government is fully committed to supporting our diaspora members and is doing everything within its means to assist them.

The meeting was attended by MP Greta Tsitsava, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimer Konstantinidi, Director of the Ministry’s Diaspora Relations Department Mukhran Gulaghashvili, and other representatives. The Honorary Consul of Georgia in Israel Meni Benish also participated in the meeting.
