Disaster in Khelvachauri. As a result of heavy rainfall, the river in the village of Korolistavi overflowed. Cottages and part of residential houses were flooded, infrastructure was damaged.

According to the locals, there was no one in the cottages near the river bed. No one was injured as a result of the disaster. The Mayor of the municipality is on the spot.

Heavy rain also led to the swelling of a river in Ozurgeti. Land sliding was observed in several places. The City Hall activated a hotline for locals to report about damages. The municipality mobilized all relevant services to work in an emergency regime to eliminate the problems.
