As part of the renewal of Old Rustavi, another large-scale project - the rehabilitation of three streets - is being implemented in Rustavi. The rehabilitation project of Kashakashvili, Konstitutsia and Mshenebelta streets is already in the completion phase.
Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, together with Deputy Besik Togonidze, familiarized herself with the ongoing works on Kashakashvili Street.
At the last stage of the project, trees and plants were planted on the said street and decorative mulch was laid on the lawns. On Kashakashvili Street, natural basalt stone paving was arranged, sidewalks were renewed, green zones and concrete and basalt curbs were arranged. Barriers made of natural stone powder are installed at the entrances to the sidewalks. Communication wells were fixed. New outdoor lighting poles were installed. Green spaces are irrigated by a point irrigation system. In the territory, existing illegal fences were dismantled.
Similar works were also carried out on the streets of Konstitutsia and Mshenebelta. The renovation of the area around the fountain is also underway on Msenebelta Street, where the area was covered with decorative tiles and a new outdoor lighting system was installed in place of the old lighting poles. Sariners were arranged near the buildings. The rehabilitation process is nearing its end in another district of Old Rustavi - on Konstitutsia Street.
The project area of all three streets is 20,479 square meters. The project was financed from the local and central budgets and its total cost is GEL 1,804,971.
