Kindergartens of Tbilisi kick off new academic year on September 18

The new 2023 - 2024 educational year in the kindergartens of Tbilisi will start on Monday, September 18.

According to the Tbilisi City Hall, to welcome the new educational year, 3 new kindergartens have been established:

N130 kindergarten in Samgori district;
N125 kindergarten in Chugureti district;
N108 kindergarten in Krtsanisi district.

In preparation for the new educational year, more than 100 kindergartens received infrastructure upgrades to provide kids with safer and better-equipped environments.

It should be mentioned that the Tbilisi Kindergarten Management Agency introduced a new registration system this year, aiming to accommodate the demand for public kindergartens as effectively as possible.

Over 15,000 children have already been registered, with a total of 188 kindergartens. The start of the new year will be marked by festive and enjoyable events across all kindergartens in the capital.
