Euronews will broadcast a promotional campaign for Batumi with its visitor destinations, cuisine and more.

According to the Adjara Tourism Department, Euronews would broadcast the promotion to “millions of viewers in various parts of the world in September, as part of the popular travel programme Explore”.

The programme will showcase ecotourism destinations, folklore and Georgia’s 8,000-year-old tradition of winemaking in its shows. The visiting crew will also film Mtirala National Park.

Master classes of traditional cuisine in the locality, folklore performances and opening of a traditional qvevri clay vessel for wine storage were also included in the visiting group’s agenda.

The programme will follow a 2-month promotional campaign for the region that was run by Euronews this year to showcase travel services on BBC and Deutsche Welle.
