As for circumvention of sanctions, of course, other countries should be looked for, not Georgia - Kakha Kaladze

As for circumvention of sanctions, of course, other countries should be looked for, not Georgia, said the Mayor of Tbilisi, while commenting the statements made by Jim O"Brien, Head of the US Office of Sanctions Coordination.

“In Georgia, everything is being done transparently, we cooperate with our partners and friends. There is nothing to hide - everything is absolutely open, and if there are any questions regarding the circumvention of sanctions, this issue should be discussed in relation to other countries, not Georgia.

Reforms in the country are, of course, necessary, and Georgia is one of the leaders in doing so. Since 2012, if our country has achieved any success on the road to European integration, it is thanks to the Georgian Dream.

All successes are related to the years associated with the period after 2012. Of course, the implementation of reforms and their continuation are important. This process continues and it is clear that it will continue in the future.

In today’s reality, it is impossible to hide anything. That’s why I say that we act absolutely openly and transparently, especially in relation to our strategic partners. Any issue and topic is accessible to everyone.

Of course, we will not take a step that will be harmful for our country and for the relationship with our strategic partner”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
