Several more rehabilitated spaces were added to Tbilisi. In particular, in the middle lane of Sarajishvili Avenue with an area of 25 000 square meters, there was a tram line several years ago, which was canceled by the previous government.
The local residents also asked Tbilisi City Hall to provide landscaping. These works have already been completed. Within the framework of the project, pedestrian and bicycle paths, children’s and sports grounds, protective fencing, as well as outdoor lighting and video surveillance systems have been provided in the alley. In addition, park furniture has been installed. All necessary landscaping activities have been carried out: over 5,000 species of young trees have been planted and grass has been sown on 15,000-m2 area. Besides, new green islands have been installed in the area of the aforementioned middle lane and Lebanon Street.
As for Sarajishvili Square, which has an area of 6 000 square meters, pedestrian paths, outdoor lighting and video surveillance systems have been provided, park furniture has been installed, and various types of trees and plants have been planted.
In addition, pedestrian paths have been renewed, the outdoor lighting network has been changed, video surveillance cameras have been installed, landscaping works have been carried out and a skate park has been organized on the 21,000 square meters of Lebanon Square.
