Mountainous regions of Georgia will welcome visitors with a range of activities introducing local cuisine, dance, folklore, games, horse races and more as part of Highlander Week celebrations for the second time this year.

For locals and visitors of Svaneti and Kazbegi, events including archery, volleyball and badminton, a masterclass of brewing local beer and making khinkali dumplings, horse riding and performances of the Sukhishvilebi National Ballet will be hosted.

Racha, Guria and Imereti will host off-road and cycling competitions, zipline action, master classes, entertainment shows, storytelling events for kids, in addition to traditional horse racing and performances by bands and individuals.

In Tusheti guests will be welcomed to exhibition and sale of local entrepreneurs’ products, horse racing, craft masterclasses, games, and tasting of traditional cuisine by Georgian chefs and local families.
