We are going through a complicated moment in our history, since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, and now it is more important than ever to be united and in solidarity with Ukraine, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, before the meeting of the foreign ministers of the NATO member countries.
The Moldovan official noted that Moldova is fully committed to strengthening its international partnerships with countries working together to restore peace in Europe.
“Let us act as a European family to stop this war and to restore peace to the European continent. Moldova is fully committed to strengthening its international partnerships with those countries that work together to return peace to Europe, to make Europe stronger and of course NATO is the key organization that ensures stability in Europe and works together with Moldova to keep peace in our country.
Today I will give a speech at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the NATO member countries. We will look for ways to strengthen partnerships.
We will continue to defend Moldova’s security and be a contributor to security on the European continent”, - said the Foreign Minister.
