There is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance - Zelensky

Ending speculation over whether he would travel to Vilnius, President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that Ukraine will participate in the NATO summit “because it is about respect”.

But “Ukraine also deserves respect”, he wrote on Twitter, calling it “unprecedented and absurd” that no time frame had been given for an invitation for Ukraine to join the alliance, or for Kyiv’s membership bid.

Saying that it appears “there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance”. Zelensky ended his Tweet by emphasizing that: “Uncertainty is weakness. And I will openly discuss this at the summit”.
