The City Hall of Rustavi, within the framework of the new development plan of the city, continues to reform the field of municipal road transport.

The Mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze, met the employees of the Municipal Transport Service and introduced the city’s new development plan, the results of the reform implemented in the transport sector and future plans.

Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Besik Togonidze and Head of Municipal Auto Transport Enterprise Jurkha Bendeliani attended the meeting.

100 drivers and 49 controllers are employed in the municipal transport service. Since January 2023, until today, their labor remuneration has already increased for the second time. The fleet has been completely renewed with 40 new Euro standard buses. In the near future, 20 new buses will be added. Stops were organized in the city and new equipment was given to employees.
