A Russian missile attack on a block of flats has killed at least four people in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.
The governor of Lviv Maksym Kozytskyi said 34 people were wounded in the rocket strike, which destroyed the top two floors on part of the building.
Rescuers were hunting through the debris of the apartment block for casulaties amid fears survivors may be trapped inside.
Ukraine’s interior minister Ihor Klymenko said seven people were rescued and 64 evacuated by emergency services.
Lviv mayor Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reoorted that 60 apartments and 50 cars in were damaged in the strike, which he described as the largest on the city’s civilian infrastructure since Russia’s invasion in February, 2022.
