Nikoloz Gugeshashvili, who was detained for the violence against Misha Msvildadze [one of the founders of Formula TV], was imprisoned as a preventive measure.

During the trial, the Prosecutor’s Office demanded that the detainee be imprisoned as a preventive measure, while the defense demanded his release in exchange for a GEL 20 000 bail.

The judge approved the demand of the Prosecutor’s Office.

On June 27, Nikoloz Gugeshashvili assaulted Misha Msvildadze due to statements made in public space.

Gugeshashvili was charged under Article 126, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (violence that caused physical pain to the victim).
