Georgian Deputy Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili and the Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration Maia Omiadze joined the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation in the Dominican Republic.

They met tourism ministers and leaders from governments with prospects of developing new cooperation.

Mariam Kvrivishvili and Maia Omiadze were also involved in thematic discussions within the Council session and had the opportunity to introduce to leaders of tourism industry the successful results that Georgia has in terms of the dynamics of post-pandemic tourism recovery.
