Russia has attacked Ukraine’s capital city of Kyiv with its strategic bombers, Tu-95MS and Tu-160, from the Caspian Sea. The relevant statement was made by Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.

Presumably, the enemy fired the Kh-101/555 cruise missiles, and used reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the capital city afterwards.

“According to the preliminary data, all enemy targets in Kyiv’s airspace were detected and destroyed. The Air Force will soon update on the number and type of missiles and UAVs”, the report states.

The fragments of Russian projectiles landed in Kyiv’s Desnianskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
