Djansug Kakhidze 8th International Music Festival starts in Tbilisi

Djansug Kakhidze 8th International Music Festival will traditionally present the diverse program with participation of world famous stars and Georgian musicians.

The event will host legendary vocal ensemble TAKE 6 and outstanding singer of contemporary jazz scene China Moses. They will perform with Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Vakhtang Kakhidze.

This year, the guest of the festival will be Tbilisi City Hall Big Band with leadership of Givi Gachechiladze.

The annual Jansug Kakhidze International Music Festival was established in 2016 to celebrate the 80th birthday of the late conductor, who was recognized worldwide and led Georgia"s State Symphony Orchestra for two decades.
