The Georgian Ministry of Defence’s Wounded and Injured Military Team has returned victorious from the Air Force and Marine Corps Games held in Texas, US. The Georgian military para-athletes achieved impressive results, securing 18 gold, 11 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

The Air Force and Marine Corps Games took place at the Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. This marks the 3rd time the Ministry of Defence of Georgia’s wounded and injured servicemen have participated in the competition. They competed in various individual and team sports, including archery, cycling, rowing, athletics (shot put and discus), weightlifting, swimming, running, rifle and pistol shooting, sitting basketball, and sitting volleyball.
