Air Serbia to launch direct flights Belgrade - Tbilisi from June 15

A new European airline is set to enter the Georgian aviation market. Air Serbia will commence direct regular flights between Belgrade and Tbilisi starting June 15, operating 3 times a week using an Airbus A319.

Air Serbia would continue operations on the Belgrade-Tbilisi route throughout the entire year.

It should be mentioned that there has never been a direct regular air connection between Georgia and Serbia until now.

Air Serbia is the successor to the first Serbian national airline, Aeroput, which was founded in 1927. In 2024, the total passenger flow between Georgia and Serbia amounted to 16,839 passengers, representing a 66% increase compared to the data from 2023.
