U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv. Upon his arrival at the train station, he was greeted by U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.

Speaking to the media about his visit, Kellogg described it as “a chance for good, potential negotiations”: We will listen. We are ready to provide what is needed. We understand the necessity of security guarantees. Part of my mission is to listen. Then I will return to the U.S. and speak with President Trump to make sure we fully understand everything correctly”.

The U.S. envoy also remarked that he firmly believes the war “would not have started if Trump had been president at the time”: “He understands the suffering, the destruction. And we want this to end”.

Kellogg will be in Ukraine for a two-day visit. According to the Ukrainian President, he will meet with him and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
