
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea, presented copies of his credentials to Georgia’s Foreign Minister.
Maka Botchorishvili congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as the first Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Georgia, conveying her best wishes for success in his future endeavours.
The parties acknowledged the immensely positive impact the opening of the Republic of Korea’s Embassy in Tbilisi will have on the future of Georgian-Korean cooperation. The meeting encompassed discussions on the prospects for advancing bilateral and multilateral relations, including economy, education, tourism, and cultural exchange.
The Ambassador noted the successful collaboration between the legislative bodies of both nations and underscored the importance of establishing an inter-parliamentary friendship group with Georgia within the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
Maka Botchorishvili thanked the Korean side for its steadfast support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Both parties affirmed their commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at deepening bilateral relations.
