Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán urges the EU to negotiate an agreement to preserve the economic ties with the USA.
“Everyone in Brussels can see the [Donald] Trump tornado coming, but most people still believe they can avoid it. They can’t”, - writes Orbán on X.
The newly elected US President has “turned the world upside down” in just two weeks, writes Orbán. According to him, it’s the end of, among other things, what he calls “gender madness”, illegal migration, and support for the Russian-Ukrainian war: “Everything that the bureaucrats in Brussels have tried to force down our throats in recent years is, in other words, over”.
