The march from Tbilisi Mall to the Parliament ended with detentions yesterday [February, 2] evening. Former President of the National Bank of Georgia Giorgi Kadagidze is among those arrested.

Earlier, law enforcement officers detained a number of people in the vicinity of Tbilisi Mall, where a protest rally was taking place. Among them were opposition leaders Nika Melia and Gigi Ugulava.

According to the existing information, Melia left the prison late at night.

Human rights defenders visited other people in the pre-trial detention centers. According to the lawyers, their clients are being detained under administrative law.
