The rescuers are searching for two missing people in Mestia and Lentekhi for the second day. The relevant statement was released by the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the agency, the information regarding the incident was received in the public security management center 112 on July 24, after which the search operation started immediately.

“The meteorological conditions prevent the border police helicopter from participating in the rescue mission”, - adds the Emergency Service.
