The representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally detained a Georgian citizen in the vicinity of the occupied village of Disevi.

According to the State Security Service of Georgia, upon receiving the information about the mentioned incident, they activated the “hot line” operated by the European Union Monitoring Mission.

“Information about another fact of illegal detention was immediately reported to the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions and international partners.

All existing mechanisms have been activated to release the illegally detained Georgian citizen as soon as possible.

Responsibility for all destructive actions committed on the Russian occupied territories of Georgia, as well as along the occupation line, rests with the occupying forces of Russia”, - reads the statement of the agency.
