Law enforcement officers used the so-called pepper spray at one specific location during the rally in front of the Parliament of Georgia.

It was used after a confrontation between police and protestors took place and the situation became tense.

The participants of the rally demanded to climb the stage, which was installed in connection with the meeting planned for April 29, organized by the Georgian Dream. Controversy took place several times.

Special forces and a water cannon also are on the scene.

Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued another statement, according to which the ongoing protest in the vicinity of the Parliament building has become violent.
