The Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union is held in Luxembourg

The Foreign Affairs Council, chaired by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Josep Borrell, is underway in Luxembourg.

The Council will discuss Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, following an informal exchange of views with Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and Minister for Defence Rustem Umerov via VTC. The ensuing debate will be attended by both EU Foreign Affairs Ministers and Defence Ministers meeting in a joint session.

EU Foreign Affairs Ministers will discuss the situation in the Middle East, including developments on the ground and in the wider region.

The Foreign Affairs Council will discuss current affairs during which ministers will be able to exchange views on recent events and on fast-moving developments in external relations.
