Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia, while commenting the meeting organized by Salome Zourabichvili, which is dedicated to discussing the issue of diaspora’s involvement in the elections.

“She has no moral right to meet CEC Chairman Giorgi Kalandarishvili. You remember that despite the decision of the commission, she did not present him as a candidate for the chairmanship of the CEC, because [Levan] Khabeishvili, [Salome] Samadashvili, [Giorgi] Vashadze and others didn’t support Kalandarishvili.

Accordingly, Salome Zourabichvili has no moral right to meet Kalandarishvili, and secondly, she has no moral right to talk about the elections at all, because she directly supported the deadlock in the Central Election Commission with her veto.
