Georgian National Tourism Administration, together with the private sector, annually participates in international exhibitions, which contributes to the development of tourism and helps Georgian companies present their services and products to the international market.
The Georgian National Tourism Administration [GNTA] has created a new platform - exhibitions.gnta.ge - for the tourism sector.
As part of the digital transformation project of the GNTA, the new platform will help private sector representatives to register to participate in international tourism exhibitions.
The online portal is based on an algorithm that will identify participants in a fair and transparent manner.
“About 5,000 representatives of the private sector are registered in the database of the GNTA, and at the end of each year, a list of the next year’s exhibitions was sent to them. Representatives of the private sector expressed their willingness to participate in important exhibitions and registered with the administration by submitting an official letter.
Due to the fact that the number of participants in the space allocated to Georgia at each exhibition is limited, the number of applicants is reduced to the number of available places, which was connected to the principle of voting, as a result of which companies were selected. The online portal of international exhibitions will digitize the process and make registration easier for the private sector”, - explains GNTA.
