The Special Investigation Service arrested a 20-year-old man for the fact of disclosure of secrets of the personal life.

The investigation established, that a man, born in 2003, unlawfully obtained his friend’s ex-girlfriend’s intimate photos and videos. From January to February of the current year, using a fake Facebook page, the accused contacted the victim and with the threat of sharing intimate photos and video recordings, demanded tacit obedience and conducting specific actions, including sending intimate photos and handing over the victim’s Facebook password. In addition, he contacted the victim and asked to have a love relationship, and after receiving a refusal, to degrade the female victim, he publicly posted intimate videos on a fake Facebook page.

After receiving the victim"s report, the Special Investigation Service promptly conducted the investigative activities. During the personal search, intimate photo-video materials of the female victim were found, and the accused was arrested.

The Special Investigation Service also exposed a woman, born in 2000, the fact of disclosure of secrets of personal life.

The investigation established, that in 2023, through using a fake “Instagram” profile, a woman, born in 2000, with the motive of revenge, got acquainted with her ex-husband’s sister and gained her trust under the name of a man. The victim sent her naked photos and videos on the specified fake profile to her ex-daughter-in-law, who was chatting with her under the name of a man, using a fake profile. In this way, the accused person, unlawfully, by deceit obtained and kept the photo-video material depicting the secret of the victim’s personal life, which she at a later stage distributed to the relatives of the victim to degrade her name. During the personal search of the accused woman based on the court ruling, photo-video materials of the victim’s naked body were removed from her mobile phone.

The woman, exposed to the crime, was charged with disclosure of secrets of personal life.

The crime shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of up to seven years. The Special Investigation Service continues the investigation on both facts.
