The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia applied to the competent agencies of Germany and Belgium to arrest and extradite Zurab Adeishvili [former Minister of Justice of Georgia].

As the agency told Rustavi 2, the appeal was made on the basis of publicly disseminated information.

“The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, within the framework of its powers, implements all the measures provided for by the law to bring the persons who committed crimes in Georgia to Georgian justice, regardless of their location.

In this case as well, based on publicly disseminated information, the Prosecutor’s Office appealed to the competent agencies of Germany and Belgium in order to detain Zurab Adeishvili and extradite him to Georgia”, - says the agency.
