There was no reason based on the principles of the rule of law to ban Zurab Adeishvili from entering the Parliament of Germany, reads the statement issued by the German embassy.

“Mr. Adeishvili was on the rostrum intended for guests of the German Bundestag during the debate on February 22, as a member of the Ukrainian Ambassador’s delegation.

There was no reason based on the principles of the rule of law to ban Zurab Adeishvili from entering the parliament of Germany. This fact has nothing to do with the attitude towards the relations between Germany and Georgia. It is known to everyone that the relations between Germany and Georgia are very good”, - reads the statement.
