The Prime Minister of Georgia responds to the 80th anniversary of the national hero of Georgia, Giuli Shartava, on the social network.

“Georgia’s national hero Zhiuli Shartava would have turned 80 today.

Zhiuli Shartava is an example of heroism and self-sacrifice for each of us and future generations. He sacrificed his life and became a symbol of the dignity of a Georgian man.

I am confident that history will never forget his heroism”, - says Irakli Kobakhidze.
