Students from socially vulnerable, large families, and those with disabilities can apply for financial assistance to cover tuition fees for the spring semester

The Mayor of Tbilisi Mayor announced today the commencement of applications for tuition funding under the Student Funding Program.

“From March 6, students from socially vulnerable families, large families, and those with disabilities can apply for financial assistance to cover tuition fees for the spring semester of the 2023 / 2024 academic year.

In a bid to alleviate financial burdens and promote equal access to education, the Tbilisi government has launched the Student Funding Program, offering support to eligible students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degrees.

The funding amount will be determined based on the student’s academic performance in the previous semester, with options for 50%, 70%, or 100% coverage, up to a maximum of GEL 1 125 per semester.

Students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate programs, and who are members of large families, registered as socially vulnerable, or have disabilities, are encouraged to apply.

The application window will remain open until May 31”, - explained Kakha Kaladze.
