Having more than 3 pets (dogs, cats) in an apartment of a multi-apartment residential building will be allowed based on the consent of the majority of the apartment owners.

Such restriction is envisaged by the draft law “On domestic animals”, which was initiated in the parliament by the MPs of Georgian Dream.

The mentioned restriction does not apply to an animal whose age doesn’t exceed 2 months.

Having more than 3 pets (dogs, cats) aged 2 months or more in an apartment of a multi-apartment residential building without the consent of the majority of the apartment owners will result in the owner being fined in the amount of GEL 300.
