A great actor from the United States, John Malkovich, will be the main attractive element of the International Theater Festival in Tbilisi. The City Hall of the capital confirmed this information.

The festival will bring together troupes from different countries, such as Poland, Latvia, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Ukraine and, of course, Georgia.

In addition to John Malkovich and his stage partner Ingeborga Dapkunaite, who will appear before the audience in the play “In the Solitude of Cotton Fields”, many other headliners of the festival will also perform at the festival, giving the audience an unforgettable experience.

The play “In the Solitude of Cotton Fields” is a work by the French playwright Bernard–Marie Coltes, which tells the story of a hidden meeting of two strangers. One of them has what the other needs, and in order to share this treasure, he needs to find a way to explain his needs. This emotionally intense play takes the audience into the world of secrets, passions and internal conflicts of the characters.
