Fire-rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs continued search operations throughout the night.

As a result of the intensive search and rescue operation, the bodies of 8 people were found in the landslide in the village of Nergeeti, Baghdati municipality, and search works are ongoing for one more civilian.

In the disaster zone, more than 200 fire-rescuers, with appropriate equipment and drones are carrying out search operations.

A group of K-9 experts are also involved in the search-and-rescue operation.
