At today’s plenary session of the Parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers and the government program – “For the construction of the European state” will be submitted for the vote of confidence.

The Parliament shall hold a vote confidence in the manner established for the consideration of the draft law in the first reading. Georgian Dream nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the post of Prime Minister. Besides, the composition of the new Government looks like this:

Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia - Giorgi Amilakhvari;
Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture - Otar Shamugia;
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development - Levan Davitashvili;
Minister of Defense of Georgia - Irakli Chikovani;
Minister of Justice of Georgia - Rati Bregadze;
Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia - Tea Tsulukiani;
Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs - Zurab Azarashvili;
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Irakli Karseladze;
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia - Ilia Darchiashvili;
Finance Minister of Georgia - Lasha Khutsishvili;
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Vakhtang Gomelauri;
Minister of State for Reconciliation and Civic Equality - Tea Akhvlediani.
